This is the time of year when weddings slow down, and we get to hang out with a lot of really cool couples and get to know them during their engagement sessions.

The stories of how these couples first meet are HILARIOUS. But also make-me-all-misty sweet. And also passionate. And also downright romantic.

Each story is different. And each story is timeless.

So in reality, this is the time of year when we get to relive those stories. When we take our couples back to those first feelings of love and romance and butterflies and commitment.

Because during the engagement session they get to spend two hours just lovin’ on each other. He gets to pull her close and give her soft kisses on the cheeks. She gets to snuggle into his arms and feel his strength. They get to laugh – hard – and pull each other through meadows and beaches and alleys and hills. She gets to show off that fabulous dress and he gets to check out the most beautiful girl in the world.

In the midst of the wedding plans, they get to remember that they are madly in love.

So we absolutely love engagement sessions, and we always look forward to this time of year when we get to build a bunch of new relationships with some fabulous new couples.
