This is one of those blog posts that I knew was going to be simply dynamite the moment I clicked the shutter. Jeff and I were in Portland this past weekend to photograph the lovely Garrett and Heather, and when Heather sent me images of the Vista House asking if it would be an option for the engagement session, I could barely contain myself. A teeny stone house surrounded by romantic lanterns and stone walls overlooking the rolling hills surrounding the majestic Columbia River? I think Heather was looking to kill me with anticipation!
When we arrived with our suit and dress clad couple, the stars truly aligned. I could photograph the gorgeous Garrett and Heather anywhere and be in photographer heaven, but my entire soul filled will delight as soon as they started strolling the lantern-lined walkways.

It was a weekend we won’t soon forget (if ever), and we were beyond blessed by your story, our conversations, and your hospitality. Keep the city warm for us until we see you again in September!
