When Andrew arrived to the bonfire where all of his friends from church were hanging out, his heart sank when he noticed Victoria had come with another guy. She was always a bright spot in his week – a ray of positivity that expanded his heart every time he saw her big smile brighten the room.
There was something so special about this girl, and at that moment, he knew that he should be the one walking beside her, holding her hand through love and life. And soon, their acquaintance turned into friendship, and friendship into love. They discovered in each other a companion that balanced them out, filled their hearts, and kept them safe.
We also think Victoria is pretty stinkin’ special, because she interned with us during her final semester at our alma mater, Point Loma Nazarene University. Her ambitious nature, analytical mind, and eye for design have made her a crazy successful graphic designer since graduation, and we’re so honored to be a part of her continued journey.
Andrew is perfect for this driven girl because he’s one of those guys that’s so smart, it’s a bit scary. He just finished his PhD in biochemistry at UC San Diego, and when we met him for their engagement session, we knew immediately why he was so good at what he does. His mind DEVOURS information, and throughout the night, he and Jeff were not only chatting about the ins and outs of biology research, but the art of making the absolute best cup coffee, using terms that I had never even heard of when it comes to brewing. Victoria and I seemed to have found like-minded boys, that’s for sure!
Victoria and Andrew fell in love with the trees on campus at UCSD, so we spent our afternoon wandering through the stunning grove. This session turned out so darling with their adorable outfits and the golden light that I could just stare at these images for hours!
