When her life took a turn towards law school, there was a series of events that totally changed the trajectory of Kate’s life.
The first was a move back to the west coast, and the second was being re-introduced to a special guy named Dave.
She was a La Jolla born girl living in Chicago, but life pulled Kate back to the west coast. She had a deep conviction to be closer to her family – life was far too crazy to be that far away from the people she loved the most.
Once she was knee-deep into law-school, a mentor reconnected her with a guy she had known named Dave: “Do you remember Dave? He’s going to be a third year, and you should ask him for advice…”
She didn’t know it then, but that little connecting point would be a tipping point in her story. Dave and Kate began as law school buddies and became much more than that – best friends who fell in love.
(When we first talked with Kate and David, this conversation gave us goosebumps – it’s just amazing how the dots are connected, sometimes!)
It was so fun to capture their sweet relationship on a lovely evening at Windansea! These two have a comfortable way around each other that makes it SO easy to love them.
