It’s a great thing to work with couples that you can’t pass up, and Josh and Corinne are the kind of people that I just can’t say no to. We don’t shoot newborn portraits or family portraits, but when it comes to our past wedding couples, we simply can’t resist. I photographed Josh and Corinne’s maternity portraits mostly on film a few months ago, and I knew that when their little guy arrived I would shoot as much as possible on film as well.

I will readily admit that I’m not an expert on photographing newborns, but I am an expert on photographing couples and their love stories. Being with Josh and Corinne in the intimate space of their home just days after their son was born is the kind of connection that I live for. We first met these two at their engagement session when they were preparing to say ‘I do’ to one another, and we’ve been given a front row seat ever since to the stepping stones of their family legacy.
