Oh what a sweet day this was! My best friend marrying the love of her life and getting to capture every special moment for her – there is simply nothing sweeter!
Heather fell in love with the wonderful Peter while they were both living in Port Angeles, Washington, and he is a coast guard man born and raised in the heart of Massachusetts. While they both live in Virginia now, they decided to say ‘I do’ in Pete’s hometown of Amherst at the darling-est (not a word – I know) Victorian estate in all of New England, the Amherst Women’s Club. Jeff and I are suckers for elegant tradition, and this day was chock full of it. From the estate’s timeless flavor of northeastern charm to the traditional Coast Guard sword arch that greeted Pete and Heather as they came back down the aisle to the long peacock blue dresses on all of us bridesmaids, this wedding felt like the best of New England had come out to play!

Pete & Heather (My dearest friends): There is so much I want to say! I’m beyond joyful, delighted, ecstatic, over-the-moon-crazy-happy that you two have found each other. You have found a movie-kind of love except that it’s so much better because you get to live this love in real life, for the rest of your days. I’m so thrilled to share this journey with you both and look forward to the days when we’re all old and wrinkled and still telling the same stories and laughing just as hard. Love you both to pieces!
