If you ever need a little pick-me-up, Edric and Julia’s smiles will always do the trick. Now capture those smiles on medium format film, and you’re looking at a whole lotta happy. These two sweet souls are an endless pool of joy, and their wedding day was just as wonderful and joyful as ever, and I’m thrilled with the film images that we got back from our lab. The soft pinky-peach, purple, and eucalyptus palette looks perfectly dreamy on film, and I just can’t get enough of the sweet details that Julia and Edric chose for the celebration.
My favorite detail – the soft leather ballroom dancing shoes that Julia chose to wear instead of the pair of heels that she had previously picked out. After standing in her heels for a dress fitting, her feet were so tired that she knew she had to find a more comfy route that was still just as stylish. This pair of dancer’s shoes were perfect. She had happy feet all day long!
( All of these images were made on our Contax 645 using Kodak Portra 400 or 800.)
Hugs,
Erin
