Sarah is smart, confident, and loving. In fact, she’s so wonderful that friends can get pretty protective of her. She’s such a great girl – an incredible catch that only deserves the very best – so her friends and family weren’t going to let just any guy win her heart. Whoever this man turned out to be would have unbelievable expectations to meet. The bar was set almost impossibly high…
Then came Chris. And one by one, his open heart and strong character surpassed every bar and every expectation that came his way. Not because he’s a guy that’s loud, larger than life, or outspoken. Chris won them over because of his humility in the face of his accomplishments, and his tenderness in the midst of his life experiences. This former marine had every reason to be a completely different person, but he has chosen to be kind, thankful, loving, and gracious.
So it wasn’t difficult for Sarah’s friends and family to offer their blessings to Chris and Sarah as they said ‘I do’ at Moniker Warehouse. The heartfelt celebration brought tears to everyone eyes (including ours) on multiple occasions, and it was one of those days that filled our hearts with deep deep joy.
Chris and Sarah began their day at the historic Horton Grand Hotel in downtown San Diego, a timeless location that made Jeff and me so excited! We adore this hotel and were so happy to photograph these two and their lovely wedding party is such a classic place.
