The details, the dresses, the moments!! Oh my!!
For Jeff and me, the getting ready time on a wedding day can be summed up in one word – ELEGANCE.
We ADORE classic photos of the bride and groom when all of the heirloom details, elegant statements, meaningful touches, and personal style all come together into the perfect mess of beautiful!
This is when everything comes together for the first time, and the transformation is magical!! I love getting to witness our brides step into the vision of beauty they’ve always dreamed of – because that beauty has always been inside of them, but on their wedding day they get to experience all the best parts of it!
And their closest friends and family get to experience it to! We adore witnessing parents, sisters, brothers, and BFFs take part in this meaningful process. It’s usually an emotional time that makes us come alive as photographers!
Plus, Jeff comes alive when he gets to help the guys get ready, because the groom’s getting ready process has changed so much in the last ten years. Men’s fashion has really made a huge impact on weddings, and we love that our grooms spend just as much time as our brides on putting together their perfect look, tailoring the perfect jacket, and selecting the perfect accessories.

There were so many emotional moments this year with our Dreamie parents. Nothing makes our hearts more fulfilled than watching Moms and Dads – who have been praying for their kiddos since they day they were born – love on their children when they’re all grown up!
The getting ready process is a moment when the wedding party community is in full effect! Sometimes, it’s just as big of a day for all of our amazing Maids of Honor, BFFs, cousins, sisters, nieces and nephews as it is for the bride and groom!
Our brides are always a vision of elegance and grace… and capturing them during that transition of becoming a ‘bride’ is magical! There’s nothing like it!
Our groom’s have been expressing their classic selves so much this year, and we absolutely can’t get enough of it! They seriously embody the statement, “Elegance is not about being noticed, it’s about being remembered.”
