A legacy begins in the simplest of moments.
When two people hold hands beneath a canopy and simply say “yes” to walking through a lifetime together.
Their journey didn’t begin here – they have history together already. They have inside jokes, and favorite dates, and their little ‘things’ that make them oh-so-THEM.
But their LEGACY begins here.
Their separate stories become ONE story here.
In this simplest of moments, they become the story of them, and that’s what makes something as simple as a canopy, a chuppah, a wedding arch, a church altar or an oak tree so monumentally sweet.
Our couples love stepping into tradition, and nowhere does that tradition play out more vividly than in the wedding ceremony. And while Jeff and I love shooting in historic churches, what truly makes our hearts come alive is when our brides and grooms simply find a beautiful place to make a commitment that so many have made in the generations before them.
From the empty seats draped in beautiful decor to the anticipation to the journey down the aisle to the moments in-between to the kiss to walking back down towards the rest of their life together, this is the story of our favorite ceremony moments in 2016.
Don’t forget to check out the rest of our favorite wedding moments from last year in our series, Best of 2016. This has been the best series EVER!!
Hugs,
Erin
