When Nancy was a little girl, she declared with certainty that one day, she would get married right in this spot.
She’d marry her Prince Charming alongside the water at Sugar Pine Point in Lake Tahoe, California, and then she’d jump in the lake while still in her wedding dress.
Well, aside from the cannonball into the lake…Nancy’s dreams totally and completely came true.
Jeff and I love Nancy like a sister, so we could not have been more excited to celebrate her marriage to Colton. We first met Nancy through our work with a non-profit organization called Mike Silva International, and when we met Colton, it was immediately clear to us that these two were meant for each other.
These two are genuine and kind, compassionate and warmhearted. With humble hearts, they treat each other with gentle and selfless care, proving just how grateful they are to have each other.
Colton proposed to Nancy at Sugar Pine Point State Park, and on a sunny summer day in South Lake Tahoe, they were married in the same spot – just as Nancy had dreamed of it. In fact, Colton had often vacationed in the same places growing up, so it couldn’t have been a more perfect destination for their wedding!
The love Colton and Nancy share is a testimony of faith, and the beauty of their love-story left every guest welled up with tears! We loved the emotional moment that Colton saw Nancy for the first time as she walked down the aisle… gosh, these two just give us goosebumps!
Take your time taking in all the emotion of this day, friends – it is seriously the sweetest!
This wedding day… it has so much meaning wrapped up in it! We can’t wait to share Part Two with you tomorrow – you’re going to melt into a puddle of emotion right along with us!
Hugs,
Erin
