Watching Nate and Susan glide around the ballroom to mingle with their friends and family felt as natural and timeless as the gorgeous orchids that were glimmering with candlelight in their tall centerpiece vases. There was a cocktail of jazz music and dinner conversations floating through the room, and all of the guests were right at home with each other because they were brought together by the warmhearted Nate and Susan. In fact, Nate and Susan’s laughter felt like the cherry on top of the custom cocktail they – together – have created. Mix in a touch of salty sea air and the sound of crashing waves, and you have the complete recipe for their elegant wedding by the sea.
To say that Nate and Susan are a classic couple would be a dramatic understatement. They are in love with anything timeless, including the golden age of the city in which they call home – Los Angeles. Nate’s mother even said that Nate would strap on a bow tie as soon as he could dress himself! Ha!
In keeping with their classic tastes, they chose the Montage Laguna Beach for their nuptials and hired the best of the best when it comes to wedding coordination and design – Paula Laskelle of Champagne Taste. This was a dreamy day for both Jeff and me because we got to work with a top notch team of vendors along with a couple that has stolen our hearts for good!
We will be showing off all of the reception details plus more of the lovely Nate and Susan tomorrow with Part Two of their wedding at the Montage Laguna Beach. Hint: There will be orchids, and they will be FABULOUS. Ha!
