Jason flew to Boston from Indianapolis one weekend to help a buddy pursue a girl.
But instead of Jason’s buddy finding his soulmate, Jason met Emily, a girl that took his breath away the moment he saw her. He knew right away that he had found someone special, and the weekend flew by with both of them breathless.
Back home in Indy, Jason couldn’t get over this amazing girl in Boston. He was struck by how quickly he felt like his best self around her – she was smart, she was kind, and she was so different from everyone else.
So he asked his dad for advice, his father being a very practical man especially when it comes to love and money.
His father told Jason that he absolutely needed to spend the money to fly back to Boston to see this girl – it would be the best investment that Jason could ever make.
I think I cried about seventeen times throughout the wedding process with Jason and Emily! To start, we first met these two adventurous hearts from Boston when they were on a five week road trip around the US, and they stopped in San Diego just to chat with us about photographing their wedding!
That made us feel SO special, and their wedding at The Ryland Inn in New Jersey was no different!
From the moment we walked into the hotel rooms to saying “I Do” at the church to the moment the reception ended, Jason and Emily were JOYFUL. It was simply impossible not to smile and cry and laugh right along with them throughout the whole thing!
We began the day with Jason and Emily prepping for the day before heading to the church for the ceremony, and it was so sweet that Emily wore the SAME veil and jewelry that her mother wore on her wedding day. It made my heart melt into a pool of butter!
The sweet and stunning reception is coming in Part Two of Jason and Emily’s wedding at The Ryland Inn, and I absolutely LOVE this classic venue! The big windows, giant fireplace, and big chandeliers are just dreamy! I’m so excited to share!
