Al and Nicole have been together for a long time now – about nine years – so they’ve built a deep closeness that isn’t going away anytime soon. They met in Santa Barbara while at college, and have spent the past decade growing together, creating a friendship and a partnership that will last their lifetimes.
This seems to be the way these two go through life – they find special people and hold on to them tight. Al’s groomsmen have all been buddies since they were kids, and Nicole’s girlfriends have been by her side through every stage of life. So when they found each other, it was only natural for them to link hands and say, “Go on a walk with me?”
Al and Nicole chose a rustic and intimate venue, The Villa San Juan Capistrano, for their nuptials that took place during the Fourth of July holiday weekend. This historic estate has all the trappings of the perfect place to say ‘I do’ – history and heart – and Michelle at the Villa coordinated a flawless day for Al and Nicole. Floral Occasions designed the pretty organic florals, and Nicole incorporated the perfect amount of navy, red, and white throughout the decor as a nod to the patriotic holiday. The ladies wore navy dresses with white florals and red ribbons, and the guys were in grey suits with navy ties matched with the most perfect American flag socks I’ve ever seen. I love how these two had fun with the holiday, but kept it classic and clean too!
We began the day with the girls and guys getting ready at The Villa, before heading over to the Mission in San Juan Capistrano with Al and Nicole.
