There’s something so special about a summer celebration – particularly at the Fourth of July! Al and Nicole’s festive-meets-classic wedding at The Villa San Juan Capistrano perfectly paired the traditional red, white, and blue Independence day color palette with simple elegance and sentimental details. Al wore a trim navy suit with Vizsla cufflinks (a tribute to their beloved dog, Sonic, that we photographed at their engagement session) while the groomsmen wore grey suits from Zara with navy ties to match, red handkerchiefs, and American flag socks. The ladies wore navy dresses paired with white bouquets and red ribbons, and the tables were adorned with loose organic red and white florals with touches of blue appearing in cute little vases. To top off the feeling of summer, jars of berry jam were waiting for guests at each place setting, and these two beer lovers served their favorite delicious brews as well as their favorite custom cocktails for guests to enjoy all night.

Thanks again to Michelle at The Villa for coordinating such a perfect day and to Floral Occasions for designing the perfect floral decor for his sweet day. I’m not kidding when I say that this is the most well-done homage to the Fourth of July that I’ve ever seen. Lovelovelove!
