I feel a mixture of embarrassment and excitement. I’ve finally joined the masses on Pinterest. Finally.
It’s not unusual for me to be behind the times. I didn’t get a cell phone until college. All of my friends were texting by sophomore year. Of high school.
And I’m SO EXCITED about Pinterest. Way more than I ever was about signing up for Facebook or Twitter. The only other thing that has given me this much thrill over technology was signing up for Instagram (jeffyoungren, erinyoungren if you want to follow us). If you’re one of those people like me who had never heard of Pinterest, it’s like tearing pages out of magazines and pinning them up on your inspiration pin board in your office. Except it’s online and you get to see everyone else’s pin boards. It’s pretty stinkin’ rad.
I’m still a newbie with Pinterest, so all of you seasoned pinners out there need to walk me through the steps. My boards I’m most excited about are I Heart J.Crew (for my own personal style inspiration), Photography Inspiration, and Wedding Ideas (for all of our lovely brides out there). If you see any poses or images on these boards that you totally dig and want to request for when we photograph you, then you have my full permission to pull it out during your shoot!
