Well folks, its officially over. Both the holiday season as well as 2009. I’m sitting in our hotel room in Boise, Idaho, with a rainy view of the snow capped Idaho mountains in the distance making our final preparations for our wedding today. Last night, Jeff and I watched Dick Clark and Ryan Seacrest bring in the new year in Times Square in New York, and we reminisced about the past ten New Year Eve’s as we cuddled up in our pajamas on our hotel bed.
I was with twenty high school friends dancing in our living room while we watched the same Dick Clark ring in the new millennium ten years ago, and it seems like a lifetime has passed since then. I graduated high school and college, got married, became a photographer and now travel the world with a camera and my best friend. I never would have imagined that this would be my life.
And I love it.
I am so excited about all of the adventures we’re going to have in 2010, and especially about documenting them here on the blog. Thank you for taking this journey with us and I hope we get to spend a lot more time together in the next twelve months!
Happy New Year!
Erin
