Jeff and I have been married for 13 years and we’ve been running our business together the entire time, and it’s a whole different dynamic when you run a business with your spouse.
Trust, resentment, and judgement are just a few of the daily battles we all face in nurturing a business while also nurturing a marriage.

Hi! I’m Katelyn! I started my professional photography journey as a Junior in college and was shooting 25+ weddings annually within my second year. After growing my business and gaining recognition in national publications such as Professional Photographers Magazine, The Knot, Southern Living Weddings, Southern Weddings and multiple other online publications such a Style Me Pretty, BRIDES, Inspired by This, Real Simple, etc. I then began teaching and coaching photographers from all over the country and internationally.
In 2015 I was named “Top Ten Educators to Watch” by Rangefinder Magazine and I’ve had the honor of speaking at conferences such as WPPI, United, Creative at Heart, Local PPA meetings, The Rising Tide Summit, The Reset Conference, The Pursuit Conference, Making Things Happen, The Connect Retreat, Blink and more! In 2012 my husband Michael joined me and we are officially a husband/wife team! Since joining forces, we average 12-15 weddings annually while teaching thousands of photographers through our online courses and membership site. We are parents to Evy, Graham and we also have a sweet baby boy in heaven named Baby James who we lost at 31 weeks. We are passionate about traveling, home design, & spending time dreaming and brainstorming with our closest friends!!
